TEFAF Maastricht is one of the world's largest annually recurring art and antiques fairs, and attracts a great deal of international acclaim. During TEFAF, numerous galleries present some of the world’s most beautiful and expensive paintings, sculptures, jewellery, books, and manuscripts to potential buyers. TEFAF is divided into nine sections: Paintings, Antiques, Modern, Design, Paper, Classical Antiquities, Manuscripts, Showcase, and Business Pavilion. Over 250 traders in art, antiques, and designer objects from more than fifteen countries take part in this fair. The fair is renowned internationally in the field of the Old Masters; 80% of all works by the Old Masters offered on the international fine arts market can be found at TEFAF each year.
